On the afternoon of January 12, the 2010 Hong Kong-Zhejiang Week themed on the cooperation in service industry was open in Hong Kong. At the opening ceremony, Ningbo signed 5 large projects, with the investment totaling 17 billion Hong Kong dollars and the contract capital totaling 5 billion Hong Kong dollars.
The projects are mainly in the development of urban functional blocks, cruise terminal, and restaurants. These five projects are: the project of the Cixi Lian Sheng International Plaza signed by Hong Kong Lian Sheng Group and Cixi Cultural and Business Development Headquarters, the project of the Jianhu Poly Cultural Park of Zhenhai New Town signed by Zhenhai District and Poly (Hong Kong) Investments Limited, the project of Ningbo Meishan International Home Port for international cruise liners signed by Hong Kong YOFOTO International Investment Group and Ningbo Meishan Free Trade Zone Administrative Committee, the project of the initiative phase of the coastal new town signed by Hong Kong World Trade Group and Ningbo Development Zone Administrative Committee, and the Xiangyang Yugang project Zhejiang Xiangyang Yugang Group invested in Hong Kong.
