From January to July, the containers handled by large ports of China have totaled 62,090,100, increased by 23.6% over the same period of previous year. Ningbo-Zhoushan Port has handled 5,258,600 standard containers, increased by 37.1% over the same period of previous year, and listed No.2 in China for its growth rate. Of the total, the Port of Ningbo contributed 5,212,700 standard containers, increased by 37.3% over the same period of previous year; the Port of Zhoushan contributed 45,900 standard containers, increased by 23.2% over the same period of previous year. In the 7 months, the top three are Shanghai Port (14,791,300 standard containers, Shenzhen Port (10,923,800 containers, Qingdao (5,404,600 containers). Ningbo-Zhoushan Port and Guangzhou are listed No.4 and No.5 respectively.
